I'm going to die

I feel like I am about to have a major panic attack for no in particular reason.. at all.
I'm stressing, over everything, like how dirty my carpet is for example, and how long my brother is taking in the bathroom. Things that needent be stressed over some might say. I say wrong.
I say, what's going on with the weather? One minute it's cloudy, one minute it's sunny, why not just choose one? huh huh huh?
Tonight I'm going to the Haw and BOOY art show on Aurthur street in the Valley. I'm expecting great things from these guys. Should be very good.

20100224

HAI!

This is maybe the greatest moment in Seinfeld history

Goooooodevening

I just did the hugest of all huge clean-out-of-rooms.
It is so clean now, that I think you would be hard pressed to find even the tiniest speck of dust

Aiaiaiaiai (said in mexican voice) It's been such a boring day today. I had so little to do at work, that I don't think I actually did any work at all AND I took 5 minutes more on my lunch break and no one even noticed.
I went down to the Botanical Gardens and sat on a bench and watched the river and the world go by. It was lovely.

MMMM, In the mornings, when I get up, it's getting colder.
I love this time of year when you can feel the seasons change.
Wait for a few more weeks, then you will REALLY be able to feel it.
This is what I plan on wearing all winter:

Chanel and Dries Van Noten.. I don't think it gets any better.

Hey check out this four eyed kid.. BAM

This weekend really was the greatest of all holy weekends.

On Saturday I went shopping wit ma mumma (with my mum) which was nice. She bought this amazing dress and these amazing shoes that I will borrow/steal from her when the time is right.
We went into the city and to the Emporium and I bought a pair of sunglasses (even though my bank balance said no) which, if I do say so myself, are quite schnazzy.

I enjoy them quite a lot.

On Saturday night I just went out with Chloe AND THEN SUNDAY.. oh boy, Sunday was the greatest of the great.
I got up early and went to the coast with my creepy grandfather-figure. It was great, I lathered up in sunscreen and stayed under the beach umberella and fell asleep, had a swim in the water to cool down and then got some great book-reading done as well as THE MOST AMAZING BURGER IN THE ENTIRE WORLD.

Fuck, it was from this Maroccan buger joint and it was steak with salad, beetroot, heaven, avocado, chutney, and other glorious things.

Here are some photo's I got on the drive home which accompanied our great singing

Yeah.. Deffinatly a great day

20100219

I have no idea why

But I feel like I am on top of the world right now.
I feel like I could sing from the mountains, leap through the hills and swim in the most dangerous of rivers.

Maybe because it's Friday!
Did that picture I posted earlier this morning work by the way? It's suppost to move and groove.
I actually feel as though I am going slightly crazy in my head.
Maybe I am.. maybe I am..

Hey, does anyone want to take me to the ballet? PLEEAAASEEE
My mum won't go with me, my friends won't go with me.

The least you could do is buy me this braclet

Finally it's Friday..

I think I could be the bordest person in the universe right now

I'm at work, my boss is away, I've spent all my money so I can't internet shop, I am up-to-date with all my work and/or websites that I regularly stalk/check, no one good is on facebook chat which is usually my saving grace for bored days at work, I can't watch youtube/movies.
Seriously.. what should I do?
It's only 11:40 and not only am I working for another 4 hours and 20 minutes, but I'm not meeting Chloe for lunch until 1:15. So that leaves 1 hour and 35 minutes to kill.
So how's the weather treating you? I personally think it's the greatest.
Except that I can't wear suede shoes :(
Hey! Yesterday, I was bored at work, so I bought a pair of creepers (shoes). I will post a photograph when they arrive. Actually it may have been the day before yesterday.
And, today I went virtual house hunting.
If you know anyone that needs a kewl nu roomie, let me know!
This is actually bullshit how bored I am.

20100216

Third times a charm

This would be the best song to tango to.. anyone? anyone?

p.s. That's Natalie Portman

I didn't even want to go iceskating anyway..

So here I am.. home for the second night in a row, life is great.
That wasn't sarcasum.

I can catch up on my skins episodes, read my book, start cutting my pattern for a dress I am making, tidy my room (maybe not), update my blog.. again, plan my outfit for tomorrow.
All the things I used to do before I had a life.

So now with all this spare time, I shall tell you a tale that I picked up on the seven seas.

I was watching I'm Not There the other day, it's a movie about Bob Dylan, but it's not really about Bob Dylan, but it kinda is and ANYWAY (Heath Ledger AND Cate Blanchet play Bob Dylan, Cate is maybe the most amazing person in the world)

These few scenes are maybe the most amazing scenes ever produced..
Maybe it's the music, maybe it's Charlotte Gainsburg (daughter of Jane Birkin), maybe it's the voice over that put my soul at ease, maybe it's all of these things, but I love love love it.

I was also maybe too obsessed with this song after I heard Cate Blanchett singing it. And I hate to say it, but I don't think Bobby is as good.

It is the greatest movie, it's hard to understand at first, so maybe do some research, but it's well worth the watch. I have always been a Bob Dylan fan, it's what we were brough up on, but this movie just made me fall even more in love.
Like My Pet Square once said, I still love Dylan

Opening Ceremony.. you steal my heart every time

I think I may die, actually deffinatly will die, if I do not have these shoes.
Chloe Sevigny for Opening Ceremony. They are perfect. Maybe everything you could ever want or need in a pair of shoes.

AND they are on ebay in my size for only $475 including postage.
I think it's a done deal.

Monday, bloody Monday

The only thing worse than going to work on Monday morning, is going to work on Monday morning and realising that everyone is laughing at you because of your crazy dance moves and wild, drunked antics from Friday night.

Thankfully I am a great dancer, so this didn't happen to me.

Well, well, well.. How was everybody's weekend?
Today is the first day in about two weeks that have been home/gone home/stayed home without any 'hey lets do something' interuptions and oh boy is it lovely.

I had quite the exciting time at my work party on Friday, which ended in disaster (a.k.a vomit town) for almost everyone. I was fortunatly one of the luckier ones who escaped just before things got too messy.
Turns out it wasn't just me not looking forward to the embarrasment that may have occured when facing work collegues this morning.

On Saturday night, after a sweat-filled nap, I went to cubbyhole (the new clubhouse at rosies). It was fun, not as much dancing as I would have liked though.. doesn't compare to clubhouse AND has anyone else noticed how low low low the ceilings are?

Then, Sunday.. Valentines day, also known as the day you find many single virgins in their 40's hanging from their shower curtains.
I, however, resisted the temptation to do the same and instead went on a picnic.. maybe the greatest picnic of all time.. there was even some attempted kite flying involved aswell as some not-quite-cooked-extra-salty egg sandwiches that I made. I am good at few things, and cooking is deffinatly not one of those.

And now, here we are.. Monday
A day that must have been created to agonise those who like to have fun.
Thankfully however, once I'm done watching Desperate Housewives.. It will all be over.

20100211

P.s. Sorry my blog has quite litterally gone to shit.. I've just been so busy and/or tired. But I promise to make it up to you relitivly soon

Hey there, cat lady

I just fell asleep on the couch.
And to try and hide the fact that I was sleeping, I responded to the convosation really loudly, but really my answers made no sense at all.. I was clearly asleep.
I came home early from work though because I fell asleep in the kitchen.
I don't think I really utilised my time well.. I decided painting my nails and catching up on desperate housewives was a better idea than going straight to bed.

Oh, I also did this with my next door neighbours cat..

20100209

I just went Iceskating

It was actually so much fun. I didn't fall over once! Although I may or may not have been holding onto the railing for most of the time.
I actually supprised myself towards the end though. I'm contemplating now taking up figure skating.

You may have wondered if I was dead.

Sorry to dissapoint, but I am not!
I have actually just been super duper busy, and I haven't really been home in the past 2 weeks and I've been posting from work.. Hence why my posts are so shit - not that they were actually good from home anyway - but don't you worry, you now have my full attention.
I had a spare hour before I go ICESKATING tonight, so I thought instead of ho-ing into the cupboard I would pay my 12 lovely followers a visit.
Okay, so.. I'm not sure how much I have told ya'll so sorry if I repeat myself. But here is some stuff that has happened over the past week or two.
1. My topshop shoes arrived!! (The black wedge boots)
2. I did the most amazing treasure hunt ever (I shall post photographs soon)
3. I made a new shirt
4. I got stuck in the park in the biggest storm ever at 12 o'clock in the morning with the creepiest man on earth
5. I got a new camera!
6. I'm going ice skating tonight! :D
7. I lost my tooth brush and then found it again
8. My brother turned 21
9. I made my bed for the first time in 5 years
10. I went to my nan's place
So that's about it..
The funniest thing happened when I was at my nans - I was getting ready for work and I was walking from the bathroom to my bedroom at her place and I'd just got out of the shower so I was only wearing a towel and nan said "that's a pretty dress"
me - Thanks Nan.
It was actually the funniest thing. Mum and I laughed about it for quite some time.

I just drank too much milo

20100208

Hello from the Grave

I know I haven't posted in a while.
I've had better things to do.

Kidding.. I actually haven't had anything to do, but I have been SO busy, so therefore have not posted.

I bought a new camera though, a neat little one so be expecting many annoying photographs from now on.

I'm at work at the moment, and i've been on hold for 5 minutes and 40 seconds to Jet Star and I just missed out on cake because I feel sick and may vomit.

20100205

The bomb digidy flashback.

May I point out a few points -

1. I actually used to die for this song when I went through my gangsta phase in grade 8/9

2. What is he wearing on his head?

3. ...

That's all I have.

20100204

I'm at work.. and I just went kettle shopping for a kettle for our office. I may, or may not have gone a little crazy. I think the homeware section of David Jones is my calling.
Take a look at this amazing chandelier that I found on the internet

So anyway, other than that I haven't really been doing anything.. I've been staying with my nan the past few days.
She's so cute. We played cards for about 6 hours. It got intensely compeditive.. but in the end nan always wins.
Cards is maybe the only reason other than the obvious (cookies) that I go to my nans place. I could play cards all day every day. My ideal date would be a game of cards with cold rock bubblegum and cookie dough icecream on the side and I would be on the date with Billy Conolly, the man who stole my heart.

20100201

Please sir please!

I applied for a credit card last week, and it arrived today.. I think by next week I will have died of debt.
It's exciting though! imagain all the things I can buy without even having to pay for them!
On another note,
This is the hair I always hope and dream of.

Wouldn't it be the coolest thing ever to have vaguely purple hair.
This was in the May 2009 issue of Vogue. It's creepy, but I have probably looked at it like ten billion times, I still have the magazine inface. I am a magazine collector, and I like to keep them in date order and magazine order on my bookshelf.
I also love love love coffee table books.. If you ever want a way to my heart, it's through a coffee table book. The one I'm looking at at the moment is Twiggy: a life in photographs.

This would be another way into my heart:

Or a dark room full of the best music to ever dance to that I can jive to, to my hearts content.
Such as this song:
